I’ve changed the theme for this year and thought it should be bright and cheerful. I reserve the right to change it at a later date.
Firstly the weather - this is a photo of the forecast for the 29th December not good!
Between the 29th and today 15th Jan we have had some good weather. Here are some photos taken on a ramble. Lots of sunshine, but lots of flooding.
Sue on her way out to Jane’s ?0th birthday party. A Ladies’ only affair. It was a great do with lots of scrumptious food and a very good looking wine waiter. You know who you are Ron!
Sunday afternoon (9th Jan) was fantastic weather so we went out to the Barton beach and to do a few geocaches. The excitement of the afternoon was two collies coming over the cliff top (in a controlled manner). Once over they couldn’t return because of the steepness. They spent ages trying to find a way up and finally succeeded after 20 minutes. I bet they were cream crackered.
We are off on our travels soon to sunnier climes. The name at the top of the chart gives away our destination – Cape Town. Why there? Just look at the temperatures. It was a tad hotter the previous week, but anything in the 20’s is perfect.
I’m taking my notebook computer so hopefully I will keep the blog up to date in between sipping a beer and rubbing on the suntan cream.
Vakansie groet – afrikaans for ???
